I took this picture today at the local botanical garden. My father would have loved them; he adored azaleas. I thought of him as soon as I saw that these were in bloom. They are known as encore azaleas and they bloom twice. It is so nice, as the world around me greys and browns for winter, to see the bright pink and the pale pink and the white azaleas blooming again. Reminds me of Daddy and makes me smile – he’d love that.
